The book is in the more traditional text books. It is a new approach to the subject by covering the stystemic histology on the basis if similarity of microscopic structure. It has the text describing the histology of organs in a brief manner. The colour microphotographs are of human tissues. The labeling restricts itself to the identification of diagnostic features have been reduced to three most important ones. The book can be used both as a text and a laboratory guide as it offers a pictorial reference and should adequately encompass the requirements of undergraduate course in medicine and dentistry. It is hoped that the book will help the student in answering theory questions and in identifying the histology slides in practical examination.
