Corroborative literary evidence has been searched and cited in each case. The work is adequately illustrated with some latest finds. Devendra Handa is well-known to numismatists and art historians. Presently he is the Chief Editor of the Numismatic Digest. He has authored more than a dozen books and edited an equal number of volumes, some jointly with others.
