Potpourri Engelska 2007

Covering an array of themes horror romance, humour, crime and mystery Potpourri is an exceptional collection of stories from that indisputable master story-teller, Ruskin Bond. Bond presents an evocative and affectionate memoir of hisife in Mussoorie and other places he has visited, introducing us to an eclectic and often eccentric, cast of characters along the way. The stories are often realistic portraits of simpleives, touched with unexpected delights, occasional sorrows and always with Bond's characteristic sensitivity. They are also diverse, including 'He Said It With Arsenic', the story of an amiable murderer in the author's family, 'Love and Cricket', a wonderful evocation of small town India and 'The Overcoat', a ghost story set in the magnificent Himalayas. Filled with warmth and a deep appreciation for the daily vagaries of human existence, this collection is a treat for all Ruskin Bond fans.
