The book on management of water resources in Himalayan ecosystem presents kaleidoscopic view of water resources management in remote district Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir state, India. The book emphasized upon the identification of sources water bodies in the study region like rivers, streams, lakes, ponds, wells and springs on carographic principles. It includes the evaluation of water potential in the different water bodies and their utilization for socio economic development of the area. The book also traces out the origin, extent and nature of aquatic pollution and variation in aquatic ecosystems besides assessing the anthropogenic impact on them.
