It does not speak about theology, but it is a book that tells about the history of religions. The book highlights and criticises problems that have erupted due to increasing religious fundamentalism and intolerance. It criticizes the Muslim fundamentalism which has destroyed peace in Palestine, Afghanistan, lebanan, Iraq, Spain, Somalia, Kashmir, southern Thailand, etc. In Muslim countries there is a conflict between the secularists, moderate and the fundamentalists. The book also talks about the Hindu fundamentalism, Jewish fundamentalism and Christian fundamentalism and promotes the ideology that only understanding and tolerance can save the people of the world from being in constant conflict. It emphasises better understanding and amicable co-existence of all religions.
