In this delightful collection, Ruskin Bond takes us to the charming hill-town of Dehra Dun, where the young narratorives with his grandparents and a succession of troublesome guests, including a vain python, an affectionate monkey hell-bent on wreaking havoc and an ill-mannered ghost. Even more troublesome, to the narrator ateast, are his aunt and uncle who come to visit. The animals of the house, however, are ready toiven things up by starring in hilarious escapades that theseong-suffering relatives most unwillingly participate in.
