If citizens are to be able to discuss and vote intelligency on national issues they must obtain the scientific knowledge necessary for understanding students and should be taught how to evaluate critically the data and statements made by others before arrive at a decision.? This is another major responsibility of science teachers today to teach for scientific thinking and scientific attitudes.? In addition, the responsibility of science teachers includes the teaching of science, its implications, its applications and the adjustments man must make in a changing world.
