Barely four decades ago,America was at war with itself- a nation torn asunder by its inability to reconcile itself, with its intricate self, fighting to find its own true identity, struggling to establish peace at global level but unable to do so in its own backyard. The Kaleidoscope of colours that distinguished the various sections of the American people themselves whose mutual antipathy was the root cause of the centuries of internal conflicts, distensions, contradictions and bloodshed, earned for itself the epithet of 'the murdered their own President, shot its own Nobel Laureate, killed its budding presidential candidate, and a host of Black Nationalists.
