About Author : Dr. Nalini Rao, Professor of World Art in Soka University of America, Ca., U.S.A. Archaeology from University of Mysore (1981) and a Ph.D. in Art History from University of California Los Angeles (1991). She is the author of Boundaries and Transformations (1997) and joint author of Contours of Modernity (2005). Her forthcoming book in Royal Artistic Imagery at Vijayanagara.
