Once used by the high and mighty of the British Empire to travel from their capital Calcutta (now Kolkata) to Barrackpore (the oldest Indian cantonment of the British), it is not only a preferred educational hub today, but also one of the most exciting,uxurious and modern residential destinations in West Bengal.A number of reasons inspired Siddha, a real-estate development company, to write Reinvention!, a book about BT Road.
