One of the greatest negative side-effects of gender differences is the high prevalence of divorce and separation rates among couples which haunts our society. These varied differences precipitate, antagonize and facilitate problems in relationships. If we could only understand them better and turn them around into positives, we could perhaps facilitate longer-term, healthier relationships. This book explains the concept and dynamics of relationships. Providing insights into why gender differences exist, it delves into the heart of the problem-societal expectations and tainted gender socialization-leading to the failure of the relationships. Also, it examines why women continue to be superior in their androgynous qualities and why men are struggling to keep pace. Peter Andrew Sacco, Ph. D. is an Adjunct Psychology Professor at Niagara University, Lewiston, NY in the Teacher Education Program. Creator and instructor of the Criminal Psychology Program at Niagara College, Canada, he is also an instructor at McMaster University, Canada in the Addiction Studies Program and Police Foundations Study. Besides over 400 articles published in newspapers, magazines and journals of repute, Prof. Sacco has to his credit many books including Fear Factors, Fast Food Dating Your 2 Cents, What is Your Anger Type, Jack or Jill, and Thin Threads. Prof. Sacco appears regularly on television and radio shows both in the United States and Canada, and is Editor-in-Chief of Vices Magazine.
