But is this intense drive to remake the cities ruining the promise of an 'inclusive city'? Aggressive efforts towards the commodification of rural land is often disastrous for thousands of people, and the vulnerability of the consumers to fraudulent practices in the urban housing market has become widespread, with great implications for consumer justice.
