Spymaster My Life In The CIA Shackley, an often vilified senior CIA operative, died a few weeks after the completion of this memoir. The book stands as his final account of his long career in the CIA, including his participation in the inter-agency program to overthrow Castro. In his memoir, Shackley discusses his posts in Berlin, Miami, Laos, Vietnam and Washington and comments on CIA operations in Europe, Cuba, Chile and Southeast Asia. Distributed by Books International.
