Ever since its first publication in 1923, *The** Prophet* depicts the mysteries of life and reveals the divine wisdom of the greatest religions of the world. It inspires us to follow the spiritual awakening of the soul. The Prophet captures the teachings of Gibran in a comforting story that succinctly touches on everyday topics like love, giving, joy, sorrow, freedom, pain, teaching, friendship and beauty. Through these epigrammatic aphorisms the author takes us to an unfamiliar territory into the abyss of mind.
