The compendium is a compilation of research papers, covering various aspects of mycorrhiza, presented at the National Conference on Mycorrhiza held at Barkatullah University, Bhopal. There, the contributors come from different field of research have discussed- in recent future it will be possible the application of mycorrhizal inoculum in large-scale by developing cost-effective technology. About Author : Dr Anil Prakash was born in 1958. He obtained his B.Sc, M.Sc and PhD from Baraktullah University, Bhopal in 1985, he joined Barakhtulla University as Lecturer and was elevated to the position of Reader in 1993. He is currently Head, Department of Biotechnology in the University. He has several outstanding contributions to his credit, which include research paper and articles on Thermophilic Fungi, Microsomes and Mychrrhiza in national and internetional journals. Dr V's Mehrotra, born in 1965, obtained his B.Sc (Ag) and M.Sc (Ag) degree from G.B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar and D.Phil Degree from Allahabad University, Allahabad, specializing in the field of Mycology and Plant Pathology. He is recipient of `Krishi Ratna` Dr M.S Swaminathan Jr Research Fellowship in Plant Pathology awarded by World Agricu;lture Faremers Memorial during M.Sc (Ag) Programme.Presently, he is working as Lecturer in Vocational Education.
