Here is a fascinating tale of the journey through the Himalayas told in an unique style. Pouring out from the poignant letters it unfolds one big picturesque canvas giving a lifelike view of the snow clad peaks, dangerously laid out valleys, the dragon shaped lakes and glaciers, and the endless silvery streams. The letters tell you all - the simple native folks, their primitive havitat, incomprehensible dialects, mysterious religious practices and social customs. One almost feels the warmth of hospitality coming from every hearth and home and the aroma of exotic cuisine and drinks. The narrative is replete with the crescendo of community songs and dances, yet echoing the chilling silence of cold windy nights.
