The present book based on FORTRAN 77 is extremely useful to scientific and engineering community where extensive numerical computations are performed. FORTRAN is still finding extensive use in problem solving in science, related to prediction, molecular simulations and other research problems as rich library is available. In this book, fundamental training is provided for FORTRAN, and how to employ it to solve problems, particularly in the areas of Physics, Statistics and Mathematics. The book includes 55 algorithms, 48 flow charts and 88 programs with comments.
